The Dutch government has announced a new €500 million military aid package for Ukraine, with Defence Minister Yesilgöz making the announcement during a visit by her Ukrainian counterpart Fedorov to the Netherlands. Half of the funds — €250 million — will go toward purchasing drones from the Dutch defence industry, while the remaining €250 million will be directed at American weapons systems such as Patriot missiles and F-16 fighter jets. The package draws from a fund already reserved for Ukrainian military support under a ten-year security agreement the Netherlands signed with Kyiv in 2024, bringing total Dutch military assistance to approximately €12 billion.
