Shopee (Singapore's dominant e-commerce platform) has launched a free same-day delivery service with no minimum spend through its Fulfilled by Shopee (FBS) logistics programme, powered by autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) that transport goods to packing stations in place of manual warehouse staff. The AMR system can process up to 2.5 times more items per hour than traditional pickers, cutting fulfilment errors and reducing the time between order placement and dispatch. The expansion aims to give smaller sellers access to rapid-delivery infrastructure that was previously the preserve of large retailers, with early FBS adopters recording order growth roughly 30 per cent above the platform average in their first month.
