The relatives of Waqas Ahmad, a Pakistani-origin electrical engineer working in Kuwait, have appealed to Pakistan's Foreign Ministry for help after losing all contact with him and his family of five. According to accounts relayed by a neighbor, the family was travelling by road to Saudi Arabia on March 30 to escape missile attacks when falling debris from a mid-air missile interception struck nearby vehicles, reportedly killing Waqas, his wife, and three children. Pakistani authorities have yet to confirm the deaths, and the family in Pakistan says neither the embassy nor the Foreign Ministry has provided any information in the ten days since the incident.
