Israeli strikes across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday killed at least six Palestinians, including two children, among them a three-year-old boy near Jabalia in the north, with a separate attack on a police vehicle in Gaza City killing four people. The strikes are among what Palestinian officials describe as a pattern of escalating attacks on security forces since the US-brokered ceasefire took effect in October 2025. Gaza's Government Media Office reports that Israel has committed 2,400 ceasefire violations since the truce began, resulting in 754 Palestinian deaths — 99 per cent of them civilians — and more than 2,100 injuries.
