Pakistan and Egypt have wrapped up a two-week joint military exercise focused on counter-terrorism operations, the Pakistani army's media wing ISPR (Inter-Services Public Relations) announced on Monday. The drill, named "Thunder-II," took place at the Special Operations School in Cherat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and brought together elite units from Pakistan's Special Services Group and Egypt's Special Forces to improve coordination, tactics, and procedures for counter-terrorism missions. The exercise underscores deepening defence ties between the two countries, building on commitments made during high-level military talks last October.
