Dutch Eredivisie (the Netherlands' top football league) club PEC Zwolle were beaten 3-0 away by FC Groningen on Saturday, just one week after a humiliating 7-0 home loss to Feyenoord. Goals from Thom van Bergen and Jorg Schreuders gave Groningen a comfortable 2-0 lead at half-time, before substitute Tygo Land scored with his first touch to seal the result. The win lifts Groningen to sixth place in the table, while PEC Zwolle's difficult start to the season deepens.
