Demonstrators gathered in New York City to protest an event titled 'Universal Oneness' that featured Mohan Bhagwat, chief of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS — India's influential Hindu nationalist organisation). The protesters, including Palestinian activists, opposed Bhagwat's appearance at the high-profile gathering. The demonstration highlights growing international scrutiny of the RSS and its leadership's overseas engagements.
