FC Groningen and FC Twente (two clubs in the Dutch Eredivisie, the Netherlands' top football league) played out a 2-2 draw at Groningen's Euroborg stadium, with the final scoreline settled as early as five minutes before half-time. Wout Weghorst equalised for Twente by tapping in a cross from Younes Taha, his third goal in three consecutive matches, after Tygo Land had given Groningen a 2-1 lead. Both clubs now sit on seven points, though Twente have a game in hand and face Telstar in a midweek fixture.
