British counter-terrorism officers have made eight further arrests, bringing the total to 23, in connection with a series of arson attacks on Jewish sites across London and surrounding areas. The attacks — which have targeted six locations, including Kenton United Synagogue in Harrow (northwest London), where a flaming bottle was thrown through a window — have also hit Iran International, a Persian-language media outlet critical of Tehran's clerical government. Police say criminal proxies potentially paid by Iranian-linked networks may be behind the attacks, and have warned that a specific Jewish venue remains an unidentified but credible target, raising alarm among Jewish community leaders over what they describe as rising antisemitism.
