Rotterdam-based Curaçao Neptunus have taken a 2–0 lead in the Holland Series (the Dutch baseball championship's best-of-seven final) after beating Amsterdam's Pirates 10–6 in game two. Neptunus overcame an early deficit and a late Pirates comeback — capped by a Tommy van de Sanden home run that levelled the score at 6–6 — with decisive hits from Darryl Collins, Arthur Bonevacia, and Stijn van der Meer sealing the victory. Collins was the standout performer, driving in four runs across the game.
