Pakistani security forces killed six militants during a night raid in Panjgur (a district in Balochistan, the country's restive southwestern province), the military's media wing ISPR announced on Friday. The operation, conducted on the night of June 3–4, targeted members of what Pakistani authorities designate as Fitna al Hindustan, a label Islamabad applies to Balochistan-based armed groups it accuses of being sponsored by India — an allegation New Delhi has not publicly addressed. Weapons, ammunition, improvised explosive devices and a vehicle were recovered from those killed, and security forces said they are continuing to sweep the area for additional militants.
