Dutch defender Jurriën Timber has again been absent from Netherlands training as the squad prepares for upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures, having missed a second session following his appointment under new head coach Xavi Hernández. The 25-year-old Arsenal defender is recovering from a groin injury sustained in March and is following a modified training programme agreed between the national team and his club. Timber had previously managed to play in the Champions League final and featured in Arsenal's last two Premier League matches, but his availability for the Netherlands' coming group-stage matches against Germany, Greece, and Serbia (twice) remains uncertain.
