The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) announced on Thursday that national team coach Carlo Ancelotti has extended his contract with the Seleção (Brazil's national squad) by four years, keeping him in charge through the 2030 FIFA World Cup. The 66-year-old Italian, who joined Brazil ahead of the 2025–26 season after a celebrated stint at Real Madrid that included three UEFA Champions League titles, will now lead the side beyond the upcoming tournament. The extension comes less than a month before Brazil's campaign at the 2026 World Cup, hosted across North America, which kicks off on 11 June.
