British cyclist Matthew Brennan (Visma-Lease a Bike) claimed his fifth stage win at this year's Vuelta a España (Spain's premier multi-stage road race), taking Stage 17 in a sprint finish in Seville. After a 185-kilometre largely flat stage, a late breakaway was reeled in with three kilometres to go, leaving Brennan to outpace Belgian Jordi Meeus and Denmark's Magnus Cort to the line. The result also marks the seventh stage victory of the race for Visma-Lease a Bike, underlining the Dutch team's dominance of this year's edition.
