South African rapper and TV personality Molemo Maarohanye, widely known as Jub Jub, was arrested in Edenvale (a suburb east of Johannesburg) on Sunday after allegedly abducting a taxi driver he suspected of being involved with his girlfriend. Police in Gauteng say a firearm was discharged during the incident, though the driver was unharmed and later filed a complaint at a police station. Maarohanye, who hosts the infidelity-themed reality show "Uyajola 9/9" and has a history of legal troubles including a 2012 culpable homicide conviction, is due to appear before the Germiston Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
