India's women's table tennis team defeated Indonesia 3-0 in their opening Group F match at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games (held across cities in Japan's Aichi Prefecture) in Toyota on Sunday. Sreeja Akula started the rout with a 3-1 win, followed by Diya Chitale's dominant 3-0 victory, before Yashaswini Ghorpade sealed the tie with a clean 3-0 sweep of her opponent. The convincing win sets India up well in Group F, where they also face Pakistan and Singapore.
