FBI Director Kash Patel has hosted Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi at the bureau's Washington headquarters, calling the relationship between the two countries "critical" and praising Pakistan's support in protecting US interests in the region. The two officials discussed counterterrorism financing, cyber investigations, and the provision of specialised training and resources. Naqvi, who had travelled to the US to attend the Fifth United Nations Chiefs of Police Summit in New York, has now met Patel twice in Washington, with previous talks covering illegal immigration, counter-terrorism, and officer exchange programmes.
