Spanish champions Barcelona have signed German forward Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund on a five-year contract, the club announced Thursday. The 23-year-old, who can play as a striker or winger and has earned 11 caps for Germany, reunites with Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick, who gave him his international debut. The move is part of Barcelona's effort to rebuild its attacking line following the departure of Robert Lewandowski to MLS side Chicago Fire, and comes after the club also signed England winger Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United.
