Justin Bieber has been confirmed as the latest addition to the star-studded lineup for the inaugural FIFA World Cup final halftime show, joining Madonna, Shakira and South Korean supergroup BTS for an 11-minute performance on 19 July at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The show, a first in the 96-year history of the tournament, is modelled on the Super Bowl halftime format long familiar to American audiences.
