Pakistan's PML-N party leader Nawaz Sharif has formally launched his party's campaign in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK, a Pakistan-administered territory bordering India), addressing supporters in the regional capital Muzaffarabad. Sharif pledged major infrastructure and health investments for the region, including new motorways, electric buses, and mobile hospitals, while promising to increase AJK's budget tenfold if his party wins. Elections in AJK are scheduled to be held in three stages between July 27 and August 10.
