A man of around 40 years old has been arrested in Granada, Spain, after firing an air rifle at a primary school, with pellets entering a classroom through a window and lightly injuring two children. The incident occurred on Tuesday morning at the Virgen de la Consolación school in the La Chana neighbourhood, where up to seven lead pellets struck a second-grade classroom, hitting one child in the face and another in the back. The suspect, arrested the following day, told police he opened fire because children at the school had been mocking and insulting his mother.
