France football legend Zinedine Zidane is set to be officially appointed as head coach of the French national team, known as Les Bleus, on Tuesday. The 54-year-old will sign a four-year contract running until the 2030 FIFA World Cup, ending the long tenure of Didier Deschamps, who has managed France since 2012. Zidane, who last coached in 2021 during his second spell at Real Madrid, returns to football management in one of the sport's most high-profile roles.
