Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur opened in December 2025 as the first Kimpton-branded hotel in Malaysia, located within the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX), a 70-acre integrated financial and lifestyle district in the heart of the Malaysian capital. The property, designed by studio Hassell around a tropical rainforest theme, features rooms starting at around RM800 (US$149) per night and includes dining venues, a rooftop bar, and direct lift access to The Exchange TRX shopping mall. The opening marks a strategic push by IHG Hotels & Resorts into Southeast Asia's luxury lifestyle hospitality market, with further Malaysian debuts planned including a Regent in Kuala Lumpur and a Kimpton in Kota Kinabalu.
