Mexico City has revealed a Guinness World Record-breaking mural covering more than 200 square metres that celebrates the country's football history and culture. The artwork, created entirely using brushes and acrylics, was commissioned in anticipation of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which Mexico will co-host alongside the United States and Canada. The mural marks a prominent cultural moment for a nation with deep footballing roots as it prepares to welcome the world's largest sporting tournament.
