Manchester City has officially announced that Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva will depart the club when the current season concludes. The 31-year-old is ending a nine-year spell at the Premier League side during which he won 19 trophies under manager Pep Guardiola. The move had been widely anticipated after Guardiola's assistant Pep Lijnders said in early April that replacing Silva would be "difficult" and that "every great story has an ending."
