Veteran Dutch motocross rider Glenn Coldenhoff will replace the injured Kay de Wolf in the Netherlands team at the Motocross of Nations (an annual world championship contested by national teams), to be held on 4 October in Ernée, France. The 35-year-old was passed over for selection a month ago but agreed to join after mediated talks with the Dutch motorcycle federation (KNMV), setting aside his frustration to compete alongside world champion Jeffrey Herlings and Roan van de Moosdijk. Coldenhoff, who was part of the Dutch team that won the event's only title for the Netherlands in 2019, will ride a 250cc Yamaha factory bike in the MX2 class.
