The motion, brought by Defence Minister Kiryowa Kiwanuka, makes Uganda the second African nation after Morocco to publicly commit troops to the mission, which would be led by American Major General Jasper Jeffers and activated once a phased Israeli military withdrawal from Gaza is complete.
