Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel has cautioned the United States that it has no legitimate grounds to launch a military strike against Cuba or seek to remove him from power. Speaking on NBC News' Meet the Press, Díaz-Canel described Washington's approach as a "hostile policy" and warned that any invasion would be costly and destabilising for the broader region. He added that Cubans would mount a defence if such an attack were to occur.
