Pakistan's navy has successfully test-fired the 'Taimoor', a domestically developed air-launched anti-ship cruise missile, according to the military's media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). The missile reportedly struck its target with precision, validating the navy's ability to detect and neutralise sea-based threats at extended range. The test is the latest in a series of recent Pakistani naval weapons trials, following the successful firing of a locally developed anti-ship ballistic missile in April, and is being described by officials as a significant step forward in the country's maritime defence capabilities.
