Two men convicted of arson attacks on property linked to British Prime Minister Keir Starmer were directed by a Russian-speaking online handler linked to the pro-Kremlin hacktivist group NoName057(16), according to evidence from the trial. Roman Lavrynovych, 22, and Stanislav Carpiuc, 27, were found guilty of conspiring to carry out the attacks and face sentencing on Friday. Speaking at the G7 summit in Évian-les-Bains, France, Starmer said the case illustrated a broader pattern of Russian proxy activity aimed at exploiting domestic divisions and destabilising British democracy, warning that such attacks were occurring "every single day."
