Dutch darts player Kevin Doets (world-ranked 35) has claimed his first professional title on the PDC tour, defeating England's Luke Woodhouse (ranked 21) in the final of a Players Championship event in Hildesheim, Germany. The 27-year-old from Flevoland overturned a 2–4 deficit to win, aided by finishes of 105 and 128. "Finally, what a relief," Doets said after the victory, adding that his next goals are to break into the world's top 16 and win a major tournament.
