Dutch first-division side MVV Maastricht (a club from the southern city of Maastricht) was heading for a fifth consecutive league victory this season before Roda JC salvaged a 1-1 draw in injury time during the Limburg derby on Sunday. Olivier Dumont had given the hosts the lead after 15 minutes, but Joey Sleegers headed in an equaliser in the 92nd minute to deny MVV a historic perfect start. The result leaves MVV still unbeaten at the top of the Eerste Divisie (the Netherlands' second tier), with a crucial match against title contender Almere City to come on Friday.
