South Korea's World IT Show 2026 launched Wednesday in Seoul, drawing 460 companies and organisations from 17 countries under the theme "Beyond Idea, Into Action: AI moves Reality." The annual exhibition — one of South Korea's largest ICT trade fairs — featured major domestic tech firms including Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, SK Telecom, KT Corp. and Kakao Corp. On the opening day, AI audio processing firm Gaudio Lab took the top presidential award, while 50 international buyers met with 190 Korean startups at a dedicated marketplace designed to help local companies expand abroad.
