A golden helmet and two bracelets, loaned to the Netherlands and stolen from the Drents Museum (a regional history museum in the northeastern Dutch province of Drenthe) last year, are once again on public display after being returned to Romania. The artefacts arrived in Bucharest on Monday under heavy security and are now exhibited at the National History Museum of Romania. The return of the ancient Dacian treasures marks a significant moment for Romania, which had entrusted the priceless items to the Dutch institution for a temporary exhibition.
