Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has launched the Prime Minister Office System (PMOS), an artificial intelligence-driven platform designed to eliminate paper-based administration at the country's top executive office. The system will digitally record, track, and monitor every directive issued by the prime minister from issuance through to completion, and is described as the first government platform in Pakistan to integrate AI as a core component of decision-making. The launch signals Islamabad's broader push toward digital governance reform, with authorities intending to extend the platform across federal ministries and departments after embedding it at the highest level of government.
