Chinese dancer Wu Yufei is set to compete in the final of America's Got Talent (the long-running US televised talent competition) alongside four humanoid robots built by Chinese robotics firm Unitree. The act blends dance with kung fu sequences, with the robots also executing flips and acrobatic manoeuvres. Wu notes that while the machines absorb choreography at remarkable speed, humans retain an edge in adapting to live, unexpected moments — though after months of rehearsal together, he says he now feels a genuine sense of team spirit with his mechanical partners.
