A court in Ogun State (a southwestern Nigerian state) has heard that the driver of a Lexus SUV carrying members of boxer Anthony Joshua's entourage attempted to overtake a moving truck before losing control and striking a stationary lorry in December 2025. The crash killed Latif Ayodele, Joshua's personal trainer, and strength coach Sina Ghami, while the former heavyweight world champion survived. Driver Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, 46, has pleaded not guilty to charges including causing death by dangerous driving, and the case has been adjourned until 10 September.
