South Korea and China have agreed to work together to stabilise supply chains for critical minerals, rare earths, and urea amid rising global trade uncertainties. The commitment was made during the 29th Korea-China Joint Economic Commission (a high-level bilateral economic dialogue established in 1992), held in Beijing on Monday and led by South Korean Second Vice Foreign Minister Kim Jina and Chinese Vice Commerce Minister Yan Dong. The two sides also pledged to advance free trade negotiations in the services and investment sectors and foster predictable business environments for companies in both countries.
