Indonesian police have arrested 321 foreign nationals — primarily Vietnamese, Chinese, and Southeast Asian workers — in a raid on an alleged online gambling hub in Jakarta, one of the country's largest crackdowns on illegal digital betting. The suspects were found operating more than 75 gambling websites from a commercial building near the capital's Chinatown district, with roles ranging from customer service to financial administration, and many had overstayed short-term visitor visas. The bust is part of a broader pattern of transnational cybercrime shifting into Indonesia after enforcement pressure in Myanmar and Cambodia, with similar raids recently carried out in Bali, Surabaya, and Batam island.
