Police in Kozhikode, Kerala (a state on India's southwestern coast), have arrested a 25-year-old gym trainer after a minor girl filed a complaint alleging he drugged and sexually assaulted her at a villa in Vythiri, Wayanad. The accused, identified as Rishad of Kolakkad, allegedly coerced the girl into posing for photographs, later morphed them into explicit images, and used them to blackmail her before administering a sedative and assaulting her. He has been charged under multiple sections of India's Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
