The result caps a remarkable run of form for City, who have also claimed the League Cup title and reached the FA Cup semi-finals in recent weeks. For Chelsea, now under manager Liam Rosenior following the departure of Enzo Maresca, the defeat extended a difficult run of just one win in seven league matches. The Premier League's unpredictability was not lost on Doku after the final whistle. "When I saw Arsenal lose, I saw that the Premier League is really unpredictable," the winger said.
