At least 12 people — including five children — have been killed and 18 injured in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP, a northwestern Pakistani province) over three days of torrential monsoon rainfall, with half the deaths occurring in Khyber district after a vehicle carrying Afghan families was swept away in a flash flood.
