French authorities have confirmed that a burned body discovered on 12 August in a vineyard near the town of Saint-Gilles, in southern France, belongs to TikTok influencer Sonia Bellina, 29, who had around 260,000 followers. Two men have been taken into police custody on suspicion of direct or indirect involvement in her death, with prosecutors treating the case as murder. The family's lawyer described the killing as one of "rare savagery" and warned that he would pursue any harmful online comments directed at the victim or her relatives.
